§ 6-33. Permit—Required; application; board review on appeal.

  • (a)

    No person shall stage, promote, or conduct any temporary event in the county unless there shall have been first obtained from the county administrator, or designee, a permit for such event.

    (b)

    Application for such permits shall be in writing and filed with the county administrator, or designee, at least 30 days before the date of such event. Such applications shall have attached thereto and made part of such applications the plans, statements, approvals and other documents required by this article.

    (c)

    The county administrator, or designee, shall act on such applications within 15 working days from the filing of a completed application. If granted, the permit shall be issued in writing and mailed by the director to the applicant at the address indicated. The director is also authorized to obtain a review and expedited response from any other department or agency the director deems necessary to protect public health, safety and welfare.
